ML Quartet is a band born from the need to explore original music and a personal sound.

Led by Manuel Luque (double bass), and accompanied by Biel Harper (piano), Lluís Pérez-Villegas (drums) and Cristopher Pérez (saxophone), the quartet explores original compositions, with influences from modern jazz, traditional and improvised music.

With great dynamism and empathy among the musicians, their concerts create a journey through music where the audience is immersed in various soundscapes, in which the musicians interact and improvise seeking their most honest version, creating a place to express their stories.

“Cicatrices” is their debut album, a set of compositions inspired by various moments experienced in recent years, where musicians play in spaces full of improvisation and dynamism, in search of an honest musical expression.
