ML Quartet is a band born from the need to explore original music and a personal sound.
Led by Manuel Luque (double bass), and accompanied by Biel Harper (piano), LluĆs PĆ©rez-Villegas (drums) and Cristopher PĆ©rez (saxophone), the quartet explores original compositions, with influences from modern jazz, traditional and improvised music.
With great dynamism and empathy among the musicians, their concerts create a journey through music where the audience is immersed in various soundscapes, in which the musicians interact and improvise seeking their most honest version, creating a place to express their stories.
āCicatricesā is their debut album, a set of compositions inspired by various moments experienced in recent years, where musicians play in spaces full of improvisation and dynamism, in search of an honest musical expression.
